QUESTION: WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO INTERN AT GREE?

Dwiky: Through the internship in GREE I can learn important aspects of the renewable energy industry, not only technical but also non-technical. I learned about project management, something not all of my friends have a chance to learn yet. Additionally, I also want to learn how to communicate with different people.

QUESTION: WHAT DID YOU LEARN DURING INTERNSHIP?

Dwiky: I have learned a lot during my internship in GREE. Starting from how to install the membrane in the lagoon and also the installation of pipes along with the type and path of the pipe. Moreover, I also learned about electricity flow in a power plant, particularly how electricity flows from the generator to the electricity entering the distribution network.

QUESTION: WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP AT GREE?

Dwiky: I like having mentors who are very kind and also great to have a discussion with. Everyone in GREE is very friendly. In our spare time we often share about the challenges that arise in the projects and how it could be improved as well as non-work related topics such as current issues that are happening.

Dwiky: My plan is to continue my studies in the university. I still need to improve my knowledge on electrical and mechanical engineering and I am eager to learn more because I want to have a more thorough understanding about it.

QUESTION: WHAT ARE YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT DURING THE INTERNSHIP?

Dwiky: The chance to meet colleagues and great mentors is the best part of the internship for me. This is because they provide a lot of input for me in various aspects. Their patience in mentoring me also made me not hesitate to discuss with them if I have any questions.

QUESTION: WHAT ADVICE DO YOU WANT TO GIVE TO GREE?

Dwiky: My experience during the internship in GREE is enjoyable. I have learned a lot of things about the construction of biogas plant. For a better internship experience, I think it would be great if we also get a chance to intern at GREE during the electricity testing phase as this internship was more on the construction phase. But I also learned project management, relationship management and construction which made the internship experience valuable.
